Saint Peter, solid rock on which Christ established his Church,

You who walked on the waters with faith,

You who confessed Christ as the Son of the living God,

Intercede for us with the Lord.

Saint Peter, you who denied Christ but were restored to his love,

Teach us humility and repentance,

Help us to recognise our weaknesses and turn to God with a contrite heart.

Saint Peter, first pope and first witness of the resurrection,

Fortify our faith in Jesus Christ,

Inspire us to bear witness to the Gospel with boldness and zeal,

And guide us on the path of holiness and fidelity to God.

Saint Peter, protector of fishermen and sailors,

Watch over us in our travels and labours,

Protect us from physical and spiritual dangers,

And lead us safely to the harbour of eternal life.
