Who are we?
The Association of The Rosary of Our Lady of Lourdes is a faithful community of prayer, founded from a heartfelt desire to entrust the intentions of the sick to the Virgin Mary. Deeply inspired by the sacred spirit of Lourdes — a place of profound hope and comfort for millions of pilgrims — the association is committed to intercessory prayer, providing financial aid, and offering compassion and relief to those who suffer in body and soul.
Our Mission
Guided by the example of Bernadette Soubirous and the Marian apparitions, The Association of The Rosary of Our Lady of Lourdes has the following mission:
To pray for the sick: Every day, the members of the association meditate on the mysteries of the Rosary and present the prayer intentions of those who entrust themselves to them, asking for the intercession of the Virgin Mary for the healing and inner peace of the sick.
To provide spiritual, financial, and moral support to the sick: Through their prayers and dedication, the members of the association aim to offer comfort, strength, and hope to those undergoing the trial of illness, as well as to their families and caregivers. Additionally, financial assistance is provided to the most in need, helping them to make a pilgrimage to Lourdes.
To ask for healing and peace: In reverence to the mysteries of faith, the association humbly prays for the grace of healing – whether physical, spiritual, or emotional – for all who suffer.
United in Prayer for Lourdes
Every year, The Association of The Rosary of Our Lady of Lourdes organizes special prayer times in Lourdes, particularly during the major Marian processions and Eucharistic celebrations. These gatherings are privileged moments to unite the intentions of members and pilgrims from around the world in a shared, heartfelt prayer.
The members of the association, whether on site in Lourdes or from afar, also commit to praying daily for the sick. This prayer network, active in many countries, forms a spiritual chain bound by love for the Virgin Mary and faith in her intercession.
