Lord, I pray to You also for their souls. May their hearts always be turned to You, may they seek You at all times and be guided by Your word. Strengthen their faith, and help them to remain faithful to Your commandments. May each day they feel the sweetness of Your presence and the warmth of Your love.

Finally, Lord, I ask You to bless our relationship. Help me to always respect and honour my parents, as You have commanded in Your holy Scriptures. Give me the patience and love to show them how much I appreciate them. May I be a support to them, as they have been to me, and may our family bond always be one of love and mutual understanding.

I entrust my parents to You, Lord, for I know that You love them infinitely more than I could ever love them. I place them under Your protection, under Your benevolent wings, and I ask You to watch over them with love, today and forever.
