O Mary, Mother of Mercy, Mother of Christ and Mother of the Church, we come to you this day, pilgrims of the Rosary, to entrust our prayers, our hopes and our lives to you. You who guided Bernadette to the Grotto of Lourdes, where you appeared as the Immaculate Conception, we ask you to accompany us on our journey of faith, to guide us in our prayer and to intercede for us with your Son, Jesus.
We offer you, O Mary, this Rosary prayer, full of meditation and recollection. As we journey through the joyful, sorrowful, glorious and luminous mysteries, we wish to draw closer to your maternal heart and to the life of your beloved Son.
Joyful Mysteries O Mary, we entrust to you our joys, our moments of happiness, our successes and our celebrations. Through your prayer, may we learn to welcome these moments with gratitude and share our joy with those around us. May the Annunciation, the Visitation and the Nativity of your Son nourish our faith and strengthen our hope. Help us to live each day with the same "yes" that you pronounced before the angel Gabriel, so that we may, like you, be servants of God in our daily lives.
Luminous mysteries O Virgin Mary, in the luminous mysteries we meditate on the works and teachings of Jesus. We pray that, following the example of your Son, we may be witnesses to the light of God in this world. May the baptism of Jesus remind us of our own baptism, and renew us in our commitment to be faithful disciples. May the miracle of the wedding feast at Cana inspire us to trust in divine intervention in our lives, and may the proclamation of the Kingdom encourage us to live in truth, justice and charity. Guide us always towards the light of Jesus, who enlightens our lives.
Painful mysteries O Mother of Sorrows, we present to you our sufferings, our trials and our moments of sadness. You who followed your Son on the way of the cross, help us to carry our crosses with courage and faith. As we meditate on Christ's Passion, we ask for the grace to accept life's trials with patience and resilience, knowing that suffering is never in vain if it is united to that of your Son. May your maternal compassion console us in moments of pain, and help us to keep hope in the resurrection.
Glorious Mysteries O Mary, Queen of Heaven, we entrust to you our hopes and aspirations for eternal life. As we meditate on your Son's resurrection, his ascension and the coming of the Holy Spirit, we ask you to strengthen us in our faith in eternal life. May we never lose sight of the promise of the Kingdom of God. We entrust to you our deceased loved ones, so that they too may share in the joy of Heaven in the presence of God. May the Assumption and your coronation inspire us to turn to you with confidence, you who intercede unceasingly for us before God.
Intercession for Rosary pilgrims O Mary, during this pilgrimage we entrust to you in a special way all Rosary pilgrims, those who are physically coming to Lourdes and those who are praying at a distance. Protect them, guide them on their journey of faith, and grant them the graces they need to advance in the Christian life. May they find in you a loving mother, who supports them in their difficulties and accompanies them in their joys.
We also entrust to you the sick, the elderly, the afflicted, and all those who come to Lourdes with the hope of physical or spiritual healing. Through your intercession, may they find consolation and peace. Support also the hospitallers and all those who put themselves at the service of others with love and dedication.
Final blessing O Mother of the Rosary, bless each one of us, bless our families, our friends, and all our communities. Teach us to meditate on the Rosary every day with faith and love, to follow your example of service and fidelity to God. Through your prayer and intercession, may we be led more deeply into the mystery of the love of your Son, Jesus Christ, our Lord, who lives and reigns with the Father and the Holy Spirit, for ever and ever.
