O Our Lady of Work,

You who supported Saint Joseph in his daily toil

And who understand the challenges of professional life,

We turn to you today,

asking you to bless our work

And help us to do it with dignity and honesty.

Give us the grace to see our work

As a means of glorifying God,

Contributing to the common good

And supporting our family.

Protect us from the injustices, pressures and stress

That can accompany the world of work,

And guide us to choices that honour our Christian values.

Help us to recognise Christ

In our colleagues, clients and all those we serve,

And inspire us to be witnesses to His love

In our working environment.

O Our Lady of Work,

Intercede for us to your Son,

That we may find balance and satisfaction

In our daily occupations,

And that our work may be a pleasing offering to God.
