Lord Jesus Christ,

You who are the light of the world,

Come and illuminate the darkness that surrounds me,

Free me from the chains that fetter me,

And grant me true freedom in you.

Lord, I turn to you with a contrite heart,

Recognise my faults, sins and errors,

And cleanse me by your precious blood shed on the cross.

Free my mind from negative thoughts and doubts,

And fill it with your truth and wisdom.

In the mighty name of Jesus,

I break every oppression, every bond and every curse,

That seek to separate me from you and your infinite love.

I renounce all that is not yours,

And surrender myself entirely to your will.

Saint Michael the Archangel, defend me in battle,

Be my protector against the wickedness and snares of the evil one,

And guide me on the path of holiness and eternal life.

With the Virgin Mary and all the saints,

I beseech you to grant me liberation and inner peace.

Lord, I thank you for your mercy and unconditional love,

And I pledge myself to follow you with fidelity and devotion.

Help me to walk in the freedom of God's children,

And to live each day as a witness to your saving grace.
