O St Lucy, radiant light and fearless witness to the faith, we turn to you in this moment of prayer, recognising the clarity of your life and the light that emanates from your unshakeable faith. You who chose the path of consecrated virginity and preferred the radiance of truth to the darkness of apostasy, intercede for us before the Lord.

Saint Lucia, shining star of heaven, guide us on the path of faith, purity and perseverance. May the light of your faith illuminate our hearts and dispel the darkness of uncertainty that sometimes obscures our path. Help us to stand firm in the truth of Christ, even in the face of the challenges and persecutions of this world.

You who preferred to suffer martyrdom rather than deny your love for Jesus Christ, teach us courage and strength in our own journey of faith. May we, like you, remain faithful to our Lord, even when the pressures of the world invite us to abandon our convictions.

Saint Lucia, protector of the eyes and healer of eye ailments, grant us the grace to see God's beauty in all things. Allow our eyes to be illuminated by the splendour of His presence, and guide us on the path of holiness.
