You who dedicated your life to serving the poorest of the poor,

bringing love, compassion and hope where there was despair,

We entrust our hearts and intentions to you today.

Inspire us to see the face of Christ in every person we meet,

To serve with humility, generosity and selfless love,

And to seek always to respond to God's call in our lives.

Saint Mother Teresa, intercede for us with God,

That we may follow your example of dedication and service,

And be living witnesses to God's unconditional love for all his children.

Help us to live the faith with courage, perseverance and joy,

And to be instruments of peace and reconciliation in our world.

Saint Mother Teresa, pray for us,

That we may be artisans of God's mercy,

And that we may, like you, be lights of love and hope
