Saint Joseph, we entrust our intentions and our prayers to you during this novena. Intercede for us with your Son Jesus, that we may receive the graces we need to live as faithful disciples. Amen.
First day:
The Faith of Saint Joseph: O Saint Joseph, you who believed in the word of the angel despite difficulties and uncertainties, help us to strengthen our faith and to trust in Divine Providence in all the circumstances of our lives.
Second day:
The Fatherhood of Saint Joseph: Saint Joseph, model of fatherhood, teach us to be protective and loving figures in our families. Help us to understand and assume our responsibilities with courage and dedication.
Third Day:
The Humility of Saint Joseph: O Saint Joseph, man of great humility, inspire us to live in humility and service. Help us to recognise our dependence on God and to serve our brothers and sisters with a humble heart.
Fourth day:
The Holiness of Saint Joseph: Saint Joseph, model of holiness, help us to grow in divine grace and to seek holiness in our daily lives. Intercede for us that we may walk the path of virtue and God's love.
Fifth day:
The Work of Saint Joseph: O Saint Joseph, craftsman and worker, bless our daily work and effort. Help us to see the value of our work and to offer it as an act of love to God.
Sixth day:
The Protection of Saint Joseph: Saint Joseph, protector of the Holy Family, watch over our families, our communities and our Church. Protect us from evil, danger and adversity, and guide us along the path of truth and peace.
Seventh day:
The Discretion of Saint Joseph: O Saint Joseph, man of discretion and silence, help us to listen to God's voice in the silence of our hearts. Teach us to live moments of recollection to hear God's word better.
Eighth day:
The Joy of Saint Joseph: Saint Joseph, source of joy in simplicity, inspire us to find joy in the little things of life. Help us to live in gratitude and to share the joy of the Gospel with those around us.
Ninth day:
The Death of Saint Joseph: O Saint Joseph, you died a peaceful death surrounded by Jesus and Mary. Intercede for us with God that we may die in God's grace and be welcomed into the eternal joy of the heavenly Kingdom.
