O Saint Benedict, father of monks and protector of the faithful,

You who lived in humility and prayer,

We come to you today, seeking your powerful intercession,

To obtain your protection against the dangers that threaten our lives.

Saint Benedict, you who were tested by trials and temptations,

We ask you to hear our supplications and defend us against all evil,

Protect us from the snares of the enemy, from the traps of temptation and deceit,

And keep us safe under the mantle of your holy benevolence.

You who founded monasteries and spread the rule of Christian life,

We ask you to watch over our homes, families and communities,

Give us peace and serenity in our homes,

And preserve us from strife, division and discord.

Saint Benedict, you whose cross is a sign of protection and salvation,

We invoke your name with faith and trust,

Place us in the custody of your holy medal,

And may its power protect us from every physical, moral and spiritual evil.

You who vanquished demons and the forces of evil through prayer and faith,

We beseech you to intervene on our behalf in our time of need,

Repel the enemies who seek to harm us,

And deliver us from every threat and danger that surrounds us.

Saint Benedict, model of virtue and holiness,

Help us to follow your example in our daily lives,

To live in prayer, charity and righteousness,

And to walk in the ways of justice and truth.

Glorious Saint Benedict, hear our prayers and grant our petitions,

Protect us under your maternal mantle and defend us with your holy cross,

May your blessing be with us now and always,

And may we live in peace and security in God's love. Amen.
