Lord Jesus,

You who are the inexhaustible Source of mercy,

Your pierced Heart on the Cross opened like an ocean of love for souls.

From Your Sacred Side flow blood and water, signs of our salvation.

You come not to judge, but to save,

You do not condemn, but You raise up with infinite tenderness.

On this day too, You come to me with open arms,

and I approach You as I am:

weak, poor, wounded, sinful, but trusting.

For You have promised that every soul who turns to Your mercy

will find refuge, peace and hope.

Lord, I give You thanks for Your love that surpasses all things,

for Your forgiveness offered without measure,

for Your light that casts out darkness,

for Your infinite patience that waits for me at every moment.

Plunge me into the abyss of Your Mercy.

Wash me in the pure water of Thy grace.

Heal my hidden wounds.

Free me from the chains of sin.

Fill me with Thy Spirit of love,

and make me able, in turn, to be merciful.

I entrust to You, Lord, the souls of the whole world.

You alone can save them.

Remember the remotest sinners, the hardened hearts, the hopeless.

Call them back to You, even at the last hour.

Do not allow any soul to be lost.

I pray to You for divided families,

for suffering hearts,

for the sick, the dying, the forgotten.

Play Your merciful gaze on all who call upon You,

and on those who do not yet know You.

Lord, make me a witness of Thy Mercy.

Teach me to forgive as Thou forgavest.

Teach me to love without judging,

to serve without waiting,

to hope without growing weary.

Let every look, every word, every gesture

become a light of Your love in the world.

O Jesus, I consecrate myself today to Your merciful Heart.

I give You everything: my joys, my sorrows, my faults, my future.

Make me an instrument of Your peace and Your mercy.

And when the time comes to meet Thee face to face,

Welcome me into the arms of Thy tenderness.
