O glorious Saint Joseph, man of faith and silence, faithful guardian of the Holy Family, model of holiness and virtue, we turn to you with profound respect and great devotion. You were chosen by God to be the adoptive father of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, and the husband of the Virgin Mary, the Mother of God. Your humble and silent life is an example to us all, and we recognise you as a powerful intercessor.
