O Saint Patrick, apostle of Ireland,

You who braved challenges and obstacles

To spread the light of the Gospel on this earth,

We turn to you with trust and devotion.

Help us to follow your example of unshakeable faith,

of courage and determination in our daily lives.

Intercede for us with God,

That we may be strong in faith,

Patient in adversity and generous in service to others.

O Saint Patrick,

Protect us from spiritual dangers,

Help us to eradicate sin from our lives

And guide us on the path of holiness.

May your love for Ireland and for Christ

Inspire us to live lives of devotion and service,

In the image of your love for God and neighbour.

Saint Patrick, pray for us,

That we may grow in faith,

hope and charity,

And one day share eternal joy

In the presence of God our Father.
