First day:
The call to Mission: Saint James, faithful apostle of Christ, you responded to the Lord's call to spread the Good News. Help us to hear God's call in our lives and to respond with generosity and courage.
Day Two:
The Unshakeable Faith: Saint James, despite challenges and persecutions, your faith remained unshakeable. Strengthen us in our faith and help us to persevere in the truth of the Gospel, even in the face of difficulties.
Third day:
Compassion for Pilgrims: Saint James, you welcomed and accompanied many pilgrims on the road to Compostela. Inspire us to be instruments of peace, compassion and love to those we meet on our life's journey.
Fourth day:
Strength in Trial: Saint James, you who went through many trials to bear witness to the faith, give us the strength and resilience to overcome life's challenges and remain steadfast in our commitment to God.
Fifth day:
Hope for the Future: Saint James, you brought the hope of Christ's message to the peoples of Spain. Help us to keep hope in the future, to believe in God's goodness and to live in the eternal hope he promises us.
Sixth day:
The Conversion of the Heart, Saint James, intercede for us that our hearts may be converted, that our lives may be transformed by God's love, and that we may always walk the path of conversion and spiritual renewal.
Seventh day:
Solidarity with the Weakest: Saint James, you who cared for the poor and afflicted, teach us solidarity and love towards the weakest. Help us to recognise Christ in every person and to serve our brothers and sisters with generosity and compassion.
Eighth day:
The Joy of Pilgrimage: Saint James, you know the deep joy of spiritual pilgrimage. Help us to find joy in our own journey of faith, to appreciate the simple moments and to live each day with gratitude and wonder.
Ninth day:
The Welcome into the Father's House: Saint James, you who have completed your earthly pilgrimage to reach the Father's house, intercede for us that we may be worthy to receive God's mercy and one day be welcomed into the eternal joy of Heaven.
