Saint James, apostle of Christ and protector of pilgrims,

You who spread the Good News to the farthest reaches of Spain,

We ask you to watch over us on our spiritual and earthly journey.

Guide us on the path of faith,

Help us to find the strength and courage

To overcome the obstacles that face us,

And to persevere in our quest for truth and holiness.

Saint James, you who welcomed pilgrims with generosity,

Open our hearts to solidarity and compassion towards others,

And make our journey an occasion for encounter, sharing and fraternity.

Protect us from the dangers of the road,

Support us in times of doubt and uncertainty,

And guide us towards the light of faith, hope and love.

Saint James, intercede for us with God,

That we may journey with confidence towards the Father's house,

And one day reach the eternal joy of Heaven.
