Saint Thérèse of Lisieux, pray for us, that we may walk with you on the path of holiness and one day attain the eternal happiness of Heaven. Amen.
First day:
The Trust in God's Mercy: Saint Thérèse of Lisieux, you who lived in total trust in God's mercy, help us to abandon our worries and fears into the hands of our heavenly Father. Teach us to believe firmly in his infinite love for us.
Day Two:
The Little Way: O Saint Thérèse, you discovered the "little way" of spiritual childhood. Guide us along this path of simplicity and humility, so that we may recognise God's presence and action in the little things of our daily lives.
Third day:
The Deep Faith: Saint Therese, you who went through trials of faith, strengthen us in our faith. Help us to believe firmly even in moments of doubt, and to find God's light even in darkness.
Day Four:
Love for God: O Saint Therese, you who loved God with all your heart, rekindle in us love for our Creator. Help us to love God authentically and to serve him with joy and devotion.
Fifth day:
Love for Others: Saint Therese, inspire us to love our neighbours as Jesus loves us. Help us to be instruments of peace, love and compassion, especially towards those in need.
Sixth day:
Persevering Prayer: O Saint Teresa, you taught us the importance of persevering prayer. Strengthen us in our prayer life, help us to persevere in prayer and to remain constantly in God's presence.
Day Seven:
Hope in God: Saint Teresa, you who placed your hope in God alone, help us to live in hope. Remind us that God is our rock and our refuge, in whom we can always find safety and comfort.
Eighth day:
Suffering Offered: O Saint Teresa, you who offered your sufferings for the conversion of sinners, help us to accept our own crosses with love and to offer them to God for the salvation of the world.
Ninth day:
The Call to Holiness: Saint Thérèse of Lisieux, model of holiness for all, intercede for us with God. Help us to respond generously to the call to holiness and faithfully follow the path God has laid out for us.
