Our Lady of Paris, guardian of the heart of the capital and witness to so many prayers, remains a living symbol of faith, hope and beauty. Throughout the centuries, she has heard the cries of joy as well as the tears of men. To pray to her is to turn to Mary, Mother of God and Mother of humanity, refuge in times of trial and light in the night.
Ô Notre-Dame de Paris, blessed Virgin, you who have watched over this city for centuries and over so many souls who have come to pray to you, I come to you today with trust and love. Under your vaults, so many hearts have found peace, so many tears have been wiped away. Accept, O sweet Mother, my prayer as a breath of hope.
You who are the Mother of Christ and our Mother, look upon my sorrows and my weaknesses. Give me the strength to rise when I fall, the courage to love when I suffer, and the light to go forward on the path of faith. May your benevolent gaze accompany me in my struggles and my hopes.
Ô Notre-Dame, you whose name echoes in stone and in the singing of bells, protect France and all her children. Spread your mantle over those who have lost their faith, over weary souls and wounded hearts. Revive in each of us a taste for prayer, the strength of forgiveness and the joy of giving.
Mother of tenderness, I entrust to you my intentions, my loved ones, and this particular intention (formulate your intention here). Obtain for me from the Lord the grace of inner peace, healing of the heart and fidelity in love.
O Our Lady of Paris, flame of hope in the heart of the world, watch over those who build and rebuild, over those who pray and hope, over those who suffer and rise again. Make our lives temples of light where God dwells forever.
Blessed Virgin, keep me always under your mantle of mercy. May I live in the peace of your Son, in the joy of the Gospel and in the confidence of your maternal love. And may I one day contemplate with you the eternal glory of Heaven.
Amen.
