FIRST DAY:

God of peace, we begin this novena praying for peace in our troubled world. May your light shine in the darkness of hatred and violence, and may peace fill the hearts of men.

DAY TWO:

Lord Jesus, Prince of Peace, we pray to you for peace among nations. Pour out your grace on the leaders of the world to work together for justice and reconciliation.

THIRD DAY :

Holy Spirit, source of peace, we entrust family strife and personal discord to you. Bring healing to the brokenhearted and reconcile those in conflict.

FOURTH DAY:

God of mercy, we pray to you for inner peace. Help us to find peace in our own lives, to overcome worries and fears, and to live in trust in you.

FIFTH DAY:

Lord, we entrust to you the victims of violence, war and oppression. Be their comfort and strength. Grant them justice and peace.

SIXTH DAY :

Jesus, King of Love, we pray to you for peace in our communities. Help us to build relationships of love and mutual respect, overcoming divisions and prejudice.

SEVENTH DAY:

God of all consolation, we pray to you for those suffering the consequences of war and violence. Bring them physical and emotional healing, and guide us to support them in their recovery.

EIGHTH DAY:

Lord, we pray to you for the protection of creation. Help us to be good stewards of the earth and its resources, so that we may preserve peace for future generations.

NEW DAY:

God of peace, we thank you for your infinite love. May your peace, which surpasses all understanding, reign in our hearts and throughout the world. In the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Lord, may this novena for peace be a sincere cry from our hearts in search of reconciliation and justice. Grant us the peace that the world cannot give. Amen.
