Icon Our Lady of Vladimir - Gold leaf - 23 X 20 cm. This icon is called "Our Lady of Vladimir" (holy patroness of Russia). The model was painted in 1130 as a gift to a great Russian prince and in 1155 it arrived in the city of Vladimir. On this icon, Christ lays his cheek against his mother's cheek, that's why this icon is called an icon of emotion and tenderness. This serigraph icon was painted with gold leaf which gives it a very nice finish. A certificate is affixed to the back of the icon indicating that the product is handmade in a traditional way and that it is a superior work of art. This devotional can be hung on the wall thanks to the notch on the back.
