Icon Jesus the Compassionate - Gold Leaf - 12 cm

Icon Jesus the Compassionate - Gold leaf - 12 X 10 cm. Beautiful icon depicting Christ Pantacrator the "almighty". His blue mantle is a sign of his divine nature and his red tunic of his incarnation in human nature. His right hand is raised to bless and in his left hand he holds a gospel. In his halo is inscribed "oh on" (in Greek) meaning "the one who is" and the acronyms on each side mean "Issos Christos" (Jesus Christ). This icon is serigraph with a hollow border and has been painted with gold leaf which gives it a very nice finish. A seal is affixed to the back of the icon on a certificate of quality and authenticity indicating that the product is handmade and that it is a copy of a Byzantine icon. This devotional item can be hung on the wall thanks to the clip on the top.
